Follow the Adventures of Nkem Ndem as She Tours Maputo with BNxGoogleMaputo

If you follow my column ‘Nkem Says’ on here at BellaNaija, you probably already know a lot about me. But if you don’t (*side eye*), I can only tell you that my name is Nkem Ndem and I am a staff writer and columnist at BellaNaija. Go and explore my column to learn more about me. Tainz.

So, I am super excited to announce that I will be visiting…

MAPUTO!

Maputo is the capital of Mozambique, a country in East Africa. I have always felt a desire to explore other cities in Africa for a couple of years now, and while I have visited four cities so far, I am yet to visit any city in this part of the continent.

Luckily, on June 27^th, I will be exploring the city of Maputo with other influencers and journalists from across Africa. The trip is a 2-day all-expense tour put together by Google for influencers and journalists from across Africa to help them see how useful Google can be as a holiday assistant and I will be representing BellaNaija.

If you haven’t heard of Google you definitely should check them out (…this is me being polite because…who doesn’t know Google?) and if you do (as you should) I have a question for you: Jealous yet?

I am nervous but excited to experience what Maputo has to offer. I am also looking forward to the adventures and experiences: the people I will meet, the new things I will learn (Portuguese maybe?) and the incredible beauty that I will behold.

As you can imagine with a trip of such epic proportion, there will be a lot of photos roiling out in the process. I will be staying at Radisson Blu Maputo hotel and should have decent Wi-Fi… enough to ensure that I not only share my photos and stories from my Maputo adventures along the way, but have you feeling like you are with me on the adventure as well.
