Men And Women Arrested As Prostitutes Den Is Demolished In Borno

The demolition of hot spots and crime hubs withing Maiduguri, Borno state capital has continued as the high powered delegation visited and brought down a notorious place called Maina guest house opposite Lagos street in Maiduguri.

The committee headed by the Hon Attorney general and Commissioner for Justice Barr Kaka Shehu Lawan and commissioner for Land and survey Borno state Hon. Sugun Mai Mele – led the demolition of the notorious den of prostitutes and criminals as some young men and women were arrested in the process.

This is coming weeks after the Borno State Government said that it plans to convert the notorious Galadima prostitution den in Maiduguri to public schools for the members of the community.

“There are no schools in the whole of this neighbourhood. “We have the option of building schools here to meet the yearnings and aspiration of people,’’ governor Kashim Shettima said.
